The Manzano Mountain Gun Club is a New Mexico non-profit corporation, formed in January 2009, to encourage organized shooting sports and to promote excellence in firearm safety and marksmanship in southern Torrance County.
To that end, our immediate goal is to build a shooting range in the Mountainair area which will include rifle and handgun ranges. Eventually we hope to have a trap range as well.
We are an NRA–affiliated club, and all of our members are members of the NRA. Only members (or their guests) will be able to use the range. New members are always welcome.
Our regular monthly meetings occur on the third Thursday of each month, at Ancient Cities Cafe in Mountainair, at 6:30 pm. Ancient Cities Cafe is at the west end of town on US Highway 60. One need not order food to attend a club meeting. (On the other hand, food is available!)
